Requirements The grant is available to schools and community organizations that offer programs for students in 6th – 8th grades. Grant funding is available to existing programs that address at least one of the following topics:

College awareness. Financial responsibility in preparing for post-secondary opportunities. Career awareness. Family programs to promote college awareness. Planning for post-secondary options. Study skills and preparation for high school curriculum.

Discovery Level Grants are available for schools or organizations seeking to implement a new college or career awareness program. A NEW FUTURES representative will work with site coordinators as a consultant in developing and implementing the program throughout the first year.

What are the requirements upon receiving the grant? As part of the follow-up process, grantees will be required to provide the following information:

[click to download Final Report Form] Report of accomplishments. Evaluation data regarding program. Expenditure report for grant dollars spent. Acknowledgement of grant funding in locally produced written materials, if applicable.

Prior ACE! Grant recipients must wait at least one year before reapplying.
